📘 Course Overview: What to Expect
Welcome to a different kind of bookkeeping course. One that teaches through story, practice, and plain language.
Instead of dry definitions or generic examples, you’ll follow a relatable scenario throughout the course: Morgan is starting a small candle business, and their autistic friend Alex is a bookkeeper. Each lesson begins with a real problem Morgan runs into, and together, Morgan and Alex walk through the solution step by step.
You’ll learn by following their conversations, seeing how they solve things together, and then practicing alongside them in every lesson.
This is bookkeeping taught through scenarios, not lectures. It’s designed for learners who need clarity, visuals, repetition, and support. (The visuals are not included in this testing phase)

📦 What’s Inside Each Module
Each module includes several short, focused lessons that follow this rhythm:
- Real scenario with Morgan and Alex
- Core concept explained in simple terms
- Guided practice with Morgan (and answers!)
- Homework to reinforce what you’ve learned
You won’t just memorize terms, you’ll learn by applying concepts to real business situations.
📚 What You’ll Need
To get started, all you need is:
- A notebook or document to jot things down
- Something to calculate with (phone or calculator)
- Optional: spreadsheet or software (we’ll cover this later)
We’ll teach you the core concepts first so that you can use them in any system you choose.
✨ A Note About Progress
This course assumes zero bookkeeping knowledge. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or left behind in traditional financial education, this course is different.
You’ll build skills step-by-step by working through the same challenges Morgan faces, learning as they learn. You’ll be reminded often that confusion is part of learning — and that repetition, reflection, and support will help it all click.

This isn’t just a course about math or rules. It’s a course about clarity, confidence, and reclaiming your relationship with money.
You’ll learn by solving real problems alongside Morgan and Alex, and you’ll come away with skills you can use for life.
